"Produce 101 Season 2" Contestant Ahn Hyeong Seop Draws Attention For Uncanny Similarities With Webtoon Character

Popular webtoon author 232 recently acknowledged the similarities between her character and “Produce 101 Season 2” contestant Ahn Hyeong Seop.

232 is known for her popular webtoon “Love Revolution,” which tells the story of a character named Gong Ju Young. Through her blog, the author commented on the recent speculations that Gong Ju Young is Ahn Hyeong Seop’s doppelganger.

The image below shows how Ahn Hyeong Seop compares to 232’s character. Ahn Hyeong Seop’s current profile says that he was born on August 9, is 173 centimeters tall, has an O blood type, and has a younger brother with two parents. Interestingly enough, Gong Ju Young has the same exact information listed on his profile as well.

“I agree that it is a coincidence,” wrote the author. “It’s really surprising, especially with the uniform.” However, she clarified that when the first edition was published, Gong Ju Young’s birthday was August 8. She also said that Gong Ju Young is based on people she knows, and is mostly a made up character.

Author 232 officially cheered on the “Produce 101 Season 2” contestant, commenting, “Ahn Hyeong Seop, who I’ve come to know more of through all these posts, I hope you debut.”
