"Produce 101 Season 2" Makes Final Decision On Voting Format For Future Weeks

Mnet’s “Produce 101 Season 2” has decided to make a change from the previous season.

The May 26 broadcast of the show revealed the top 35 contestants that remain after the second elimination.

Voting has now reopened for the next couple of weeks before the next elimination as of 1:30 a.m. KST on May 27. Voting for this specific week will be open until June 3, at 11 p.m. KST.

Sources from the show previously hinted that the voting format will change, but not necessarily in the same way as it did in the first season. As announced, the results of their deliberation were revealed at the end of the May 26 broadcast.

However, viewers will be able to vote for two contestants each time, rather than just one person like in the first season. Prior to this change, viewers were able to vote for 11 contestants at a time.
