TWICE Reveals How They Actually Reacted When They First Heard Their Latest Title Track "Signal"

On May 30, TWICE made a guest appearance on SBS PowerFM’s “Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time” and revealed how they actually reacted to their current title track “Signal.”

The group said, “Since it was the first song that we’ve ever received that was produced by Park Jin Young (JYP), it was very refreshingly different.”

Jungyeon confessed, “When we first listened to it, we didn’t even realize it was our title track. Since it was so different stylistically from our previous title tracks, we were all thinking, ‘What could this be?'”

The TWICE members then admitted, “Everyone except Sana was worried about ‘Signal.’ So we put even more effort into preparing for our comeback [because of our concerns]. We were also worried before ‘Cheer Up’ but that track also ended up being very successful.”

Meanwhile, TWICE took home their fifth win for “Signal” earlier this week and rewrote K-pop history by surpassing an impressive milestone with their MV for “TT.”
