Former BEAST Member Jang Hyunseung To Make Solo Comeback + 3-Member BEAST Being Discussed

Former BEAST member Jang Hyunseung will be making a solo comeback this summer.

His management agency, Cube Entertainment, confirmed, “Jang Hyunseung will be releasing a new solo track this July. It will not be a mini or full album, but rather a single album.”

This will be Jang Hyunseung’s first solo track in over two years, as he released his last solo track “Ma First” in May of 2015. It is also his first new track since he left BEAST in April of 2016.

Regarding the possibility of Jang Hyunseung joining a three-member BEAST, a representative from Cube Entertainment carefully responded, “That matter is currently still being discussed.”

After Yoon Doo Joon, Yong Junhyung, Yang Yoseob, Lee Gi Kwang, and Son Dongwoon gave up the group name BEAST after leaving Cube Entertainment in December of 2016, the agency stated that they would be reconfiguring BEAST as a three-member group with Jang Hyunseung. Jang Hyunseung later denied having known about the plans for a reconfigured group.
