Yuehua Entertainment Prepares To Take Legal Action Against Malicious Comments About “Produce 101 Season 2” Trainees
Yuehua Entertainment has announced that there will be strong legal action for any past and future malicious posts regarding its trainees who are participants of Mnet’s “Produce 101 Season 2.”
The agency is currently gathering evidence on any posts that maliciously target trainees Ahn Hyeong Seop, Lee Eui Woong, Jung Jung, Justin, and Choi Seung Hyuk, and asked that any further evidence be sent their way as well.
Their full statement reads:
“Hello. This is Yuehua Entertainment.”
“Recently, we have captured many malicious comments such as personally attacking and sexually harassing posts being thoughtlessly made about our trainees who are participating in ‘Produce 101 Season 2.'”
“We would like to inform you that Yuehua Entertainment plans to take strong legal action against any acts that cause harm to our agency’s trainees, such as the posts and comments with malicious rumors, falsities, and personal attacks that are being spread online.”
“We ask that you send any inquiries as well as propositions by email regarding any posts, as we plan to use any posts similar to those above reported to email@example.com as evidence.”
“While we will humbly accept any objective criticism and judgement, there will be strong legal action with no compromise for any portion of a netizen’s behavior that suggests malicious intent through distorted criticism and personal attacks.”
“From now on, we ask that you limit malicious posts and comments that go too far about our trainees, who dedicate themselves to practicing every day in order to be able to show improvement.”
“We thank the fans who have greatly encouraged and shown interest in this company’s trainees who are participating in ‘Produce 101 Season 2,’ and we will be a Yuehua Entertainment who helps our artists and trainees so they may show more improved selves.”
Meanwhile, trainees Ahn Hyeong Seop and Lee Eui Woong are the only remaining contenders from Yuehua Entertainment as of now, and were placed 14th and 23rd respectively during the recent concept challenge (based on live audience votes only).
