"Produce 101 Season 2" Achieves Highest Ratings Of Its Season During Latest Episode

As the trainees near their final debut mission, interest in “Produce 101 Season 2” appears higher than ever!

The June 9 episode featured the third elimination round, revealing the Top 20 and eliminating 35 trainees. The average national household ratings on all paid platforms for the episode was 3.9 percent, and rose to 4.4 percent sometime during the two-hour runtime, the highest viewerships ratings the show has ever recorded. It also took the No. 1 spot during its time slot.

The episode broke the 4 percent mark when Kim Samuel was revealed to be in fifth place. According to TNmS, a different survey organization, the episode recorded as high as 4.9 percent across paid platforms.

Among the program’s main target (15-34 years), the episode recorded an average of 2.9 percent and a high of 3.3 percent, according to Nielsen Korea.

The next episode will be the finale of “Produce 101 Season 2” as the trainees prepare their debut evaluation mission with the songs “Hands on Me” and “Super Hot” in teams of 10. The episode will be broadcast live on June 16 at 11 p.m. KST.
