Kim Hee Chan To Join The Cast Of Upcoming

Another actor has been added to the ranks of the already star-studded “School 2017!”

Previously, the show had announced the casting of Han Sun Hwa, Han Joo Wan, and SF9’s Rowoon, as well as leads Kim Jung Hyun, Jang Dong Yoon, and gugudan’s Kim Sejeong.

Kim Hee Chan will play a student at the high school in which the drama is set. His character is the son of a famous prosecutor and therefore faces a lot of pressure over his grades. He is said to be a quiet and bright character who is relatable through the stress he experiences over his grades.

Although he had appeared in a number of indie films since 2012, Kim Hee Chan’s first acting appearance for many viewers was in the 2015 drama “Producer,” where he played the younger brother of Gong Hyo Jin‘s character. He appeared shortly thereafter in the tvN drama “Cheese in the Trap,” where he played the younger brother of Kim Go Eun. He also recently played the elite intern Oh Jae Min in the MBC drama “Radiant Office.”

“School 2017” will begin airing sometime in July after the end of “Fight My Way.”
