Three-member indie hip-hop group composed of Mithra Jin, DJ Tukutz and Korean Canadian, Tablo. Epik High went on hiatus in 2009 due to one member being called for mandatory military service.

Five-member hip-hop boy band under YG Entertainment. Since their debut in 2006, Big Bang has become one of the most popular groups in Korea. Recently, G-Dragon and Taeyang have launched successful solo careers.
Super Junior
Thirteen-member boy band under SM Entertainment, formed in 2005. Due to one member’s lawsuit against SM, another member leaving for mandatory military service and another member focusing on his acting career, only ten members are currently active in the group.
