2011 MBC Gayo Daejun Red Carpet Edition

Welcome to the Red Carpet edition of the 2011 MBC Gayo Daejun!

The Red Carpet is one of the highlights of every large scale award show as you get to see a lot of eye candy of your favorite celebrities. 

Hit or miss, let’s leave this for later. Right now, let’s go over the carpet and see what our stars stylists have come up with for today’s press shots.

What caught the eye of the photographers on the carpet today was that girl groups went for variety while boy groups wore suits or tuxedos.

From the sexy black mini dresses for the Brown Eyed Girls and Sistar, or blue velour mini dresses for Davichi‘s duet and a creme mini dress for solo act G.NA, mini dresses were under the spotlight. The girls of After School went for a two pieces shiny leather top and shorts.

From the original high school girls uniforms revisited by Girl’s Day and Dal Shabet, to the classic white ensembles for A Pink and Secret, variety was the key word. Whereas other artists left their dresses at home and opted for sexy black asymmetric tops and black skinny leggings as 4Minute, comfortable yet trendy clothes for f(x) , while the ladies of T-Ara wore elegant white suits.

Now, the boys! What did they have in store for us?

Mainly black or dark suits for male artists as solo singer K.Will, MBLAQ, BEAST, Super Junior and Boyfriend, while the boys of B1A4 chose color over black and white. SHINee mixed fair and dark wearing black and white ensembles while Infinite and Teen Top went for white suits. 2AM‘s Jo Kwon went for the classic tuxedo, smart choice considering the event.
