2AM First Night Out in Kuala Lumpur

2AM landed safely at the KL International Airport (KLIA) on Wednesday, May 18 2011 for DiGiLIVE K-Pop: 2AM showcase here. At the KLIA, a group of I AMs gathered to meet the group.

On their first night in Kuala Lumpur they went out to taste the KL nightlife the local way and went to popular tourist attraction, Central Market.

Seulong tried out a Malay male traditional outfit (Baju Melayu) and he also wore a sarong. Doesn’t he look good in that outfit?

Following that, they tried out their artistic side by doing batik coloring. The boys are given 4 different theme to finish the coloring. Chang Min called his Gangsta Turtle. Personally, I saw it as looking more like a fish.

For the next stop, they wanted to get a taste of Malaysian food and drink and stopped by a Mamak restaurant. These type of restaurants are available throughout the country and serves hot food and drinks 24 hour a day.

What is Seulong doing? He’s doing a teh tarik. The drink was really hot so he kept pouring the drink from one metal jug to another. It is best served hot and is a mix of tea and condensed milk.

Then they tried out their own creation– you can see that their faces turning red due to the hot water.

After that was Chang Min’s favorite part: cooking time! As you may know, Chang Min is the resident cook for the group. They watched a demonstration on how to make a roti canai, which is a type of flatbread usually served with dhal or lentils curry.

Maybe we’ll see if Chang Min can create his own version soon back in Korea.

After that they toured the city during at night. Looks like 2AM loves the local culture. You can check out more pictures in the gallery HERE.
