2PM's DVD Claims Second Spot on Oricon DVD Chart

2PM’s Japanese debut has begun successfully as the boys took second place on the Oricon DVD chart with their recent DVD release. The DVD, titled “Hottest~2PM 1st Music Video Collection & The History~”, was released today.

“We are happy to hear such great news about 2PM, and we want to thank the fans for already supporting the group,” a representative from JYP Entertainment said, adding that the boys will work hard to prepare for their upcoming showcase.

In Tokyo, fans can participate in the 2PM promotional events by visiting the 2PM Cafe in Shinjuku, or by attending 2PM’s preview showcase in the Sony Building. Or they can attend the official showcase, titled “2PM 1ST CONTACT IN JAPAN”, on December 8 at the Kokugikan. 2PM will perform live at the showcase.

Last week, 2PM claimed the top five spots on Japan’s popular mobile music chart, Recochuku. The songs on the chart are “Without U,” “Heartbeat,” “Again & Again,” “My Life 4 U”, and “10 Out of 10”.

2PM’s Japanese album, “1:59PM”, will be released on December 8.
