Big Bang Gets Bruised Up for New Magazine Photo Shoot

On February 17, Big Bang’s photo shoot for Vogue Magazine was posted on an online community board. Taking a radical transformation from their usual chic and trendy photo shoots, Big Bang took a different approach in this photo spread, which is titled “Big Bang in the Ring.” 

From the four photos we have so far, Seungri and Daesung get into a boxing match as T.O.P. plays the referee. G-Dragon and Taeyang are the managers of each “boxer,” who seems to have gotten quite bruised up from their “fight.” Fans have been particularly impressed by the ripped bodies of Seungri and Daesung, as they seem to have seriously worked on their abs during their break.

It’s still unclear what exactly this photo shoot was for or under what concept it was taken. But it does leave a strong impression and gives a much macho and “badass” image for Big Bang’s upcoming album. The photo spread is for the March issue of Vogue Korea.

It was just announced earlier today that Big Bang will be promoting with six title tracks for their new album, “Alive.” Their first single, “Blue,” will be released online on February 22 with the full album getting released on February 29. Their TV ads will start airing on February 17. From March 2, Big Bang’s annual “Big Show” will be held for three days, before embarking on the group’s first-ever world tour, “Big Bang Alive Tour 2012,” across 25 cities in 16 countries.
