European Fangirls, “We Want SHINee!”

SHINee performed at the Abbey Road Studios in London, England this past weekend and solidified their status as one of Korea’s hottest idols. Over 800 fans gathered in front of the Abbey Road Studios and immobilized the street, holding placards written in Korean and chanting “We want SHINee!”

On June 19th, SHINee performed in London for their special Japanese debut event, called the “Japan Debut Premium Reception.” The live event was highly successful. Unfortunately, Jong Hyun could not join his fellow members onstage due to high fever. During the intimate concert, SHINee showcased their Japanese debut single “Replay,” receiving many positive reactions from their fans.

Very few European fans had the chance to see these boys up close at the legendary Abbey Road Studios, where the likes of Stevie Wonder, Bryan Adams, Cold Play, the Beatles, and Pink Floyd performed. The opportunity to perform at such a legendary venue is one of SHINee’s greatest achievements, as they are the first Asian artists to perform there. SHINee will soon head to Japan to tour various Japanese cities like Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Sapporo in July.
