[UPDATED] f(x)’s Krystal Dazzles with Performance to “Romeo and Juliet”

SBS has released teaser photos of f(x)’s Krystal skating in the upcoming episode of “Kim Yuna’s Kiss and Cry,” where she performed to “Romeo and Juliet” with professional skater Lee Dong Hoon. Krystal wore an elegant white dress and displayed confidence as she took to the ice. Those who saw the performance stated that she executed all her elements cleanly and finished strong.

The young idol and her partner also wowed the crowd with various advanced movements like lifts where the male skater lifts and supports his partner as they skate. After watching their performance, Olympic figure skating champion Kim Yuna praised, “That’s such a beautiful element,” referring to the movement where Krystal laid parallel to the ice as her partner crouched with both knees bent as he glided across the ice.

“Kim Yuna’s Kiss and Cry” is Korea’s first ever figure skating survival TV show and is hosted by figure skating queen Kim Yuna. Ten celebrity contestants will pair up with professional skaters to compete for the chance to perform at Kim Yuna’s upcoming ice show in August. Other celebrity challengers include DBSK’s Yunho, IU, Son Dambi, Seo Ji Suk, Lee Ah Hyun, Park Joon Geum, Jin Ji Hee, Kim Byung Man, and Lee Gyu Hyuk.

“Kim Yuna’s Kiss and Cry” airs every Sunday night on SBS at 5:20PM KST
