Kim Hee Sun Returns to Korean TV

Kim Hee Sun returns to TV after waiting for two years. She will be returning through the drama “Shin Eui.” This will be the first time she has come back since her 2006 drama “Smile Again.”

Kim Hee Sun was cast early as the main character for “Shin Eui” however there were a lot of production problems that occurred and the drama got pushed back.

Usually, actors or actresses will jump ship and move on to other projects if such problems occur but Kim Hee Sun stayed with “Shin Eui” surprising everyone with her loyalty.

The drama “Shin Eui” is a fantasy one based in the Koryo dynasty of South Korea and it is about eastern medicine. Currently the drama production team is looking for a main male cast. Their goal is to begin broadcasting by summer 2012.

Slightly off topic,

Sadly it seems that not many new people to K-Dramas remember her. I wrote on my twitter that I saw Kim Hee Sun in person at a bar. (She looked gorgeous!) Nobody seemed to care :’(.
