New JYP Group a Hoax

In the U.S, during the 80s and 90s UFO Hoaxes were all the rage. In South Korea with its current technology and love of celebrities it seems like netizens love making up rumors about idols.

Internet portals and message boards had the title of “JYP new 7-Man group 2THE.0 to debut in August” with the picture shown above. The particular picture reads that the new group is just like Miss A with a hip style. “The group was on a Wonder Girls showcase.”

JYP confirmed that this “rumor” was not true. JYP on June 15^th announced, “The members of 2THE.0 that have been shown on the internet are not trainees of our company. This is not the truth, we hope that fans aren’t confused.”
