SNSD Dominates Major Music Charts with an “All-Kill”

SNSD has swept through all major music charts in Korea with their third regular album, “The Boys,” achieving an “All-Kill” shortly after its release on Oct. 19.

SNSD’s “The Boys” ranked #1 on seven of the largest music charts in Korea, including Bugs, Melon, Mnet, Naver, Daum. Dosirak, and Soribada. Especially, on Bugs, Daum, and Dosirak, all ten songs of their new album filled the top 10 chart, which is a rarity in today’s music industry.

In addition, “The Boys” ranked #74 on the overall iTunes singles chart and #32 on the iTunes pop chart, reflecting the group’s growing presence around the world. This follows the “#GirlsGenerationDay” quickly becoming the most trending word on Twitter earlier today.

In case you missed it, Soompi’s working in collaboration with SM Entertainment for a special ticket giveaway promotion. Also, Soompi has an interview scheduled with SNSD and we’re taking questions directly from you to ask the girls—go leave your questions in the SNSD Interview Question Thread!
