T-ara’s Eunjung Explains Slipper Fashion and Shows off Crutches

On New Year’s Eve, T-ara’s Eunjung surprised both fans and netizens alike by matching pink slippers with her black dress at the “2011 MBC Gayo Daejun.” Many viewers began questioning Eunjung’s sense of style, wondering if she had simply forgotten to change her shoes or if the slippers were part of her fashion.

The following day, Eunjung explained, “I wore pink slippers at the ‘MBC Gayo Daejun” because I had twisted my ankle just as I was going down the stairs on my way to the stage. I couldn’t wear my heels.  They [the producers] told me they wouldn’t take a full-shot *-_-* I too was surprised when I saw the screen. Black dress with hot pink slippers…”

Eunjung, along with her make-believe husband Lee Jang Woo and other WGM couples – Super Junior’s Leeteuk and Kang Sora, 2PM’s Nichkhun and f(x)’s Victoria, 2AM’s Jo Kwon and Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga In – were given the honor to host the year end music festival. Just a couple hours ago, Eun Jung tweeted, “At the studio for ‘Queen Insoo.’ Come on ankles…been massaging it diligently. Why am I always in crutches around this time of year. Please pray for my speedy recovery!”
