Various Artists Confirmed for "K-Pop All Star Live in Niigata"

To support all those affected by the March earthquake and following tsunami in Japan, various Korean singers will come together for “K-Pop All Star Live in Niigata.”

SNSD, Kara, and 2pm, popular singers in Japan were confirmed to be in attendance for the August 20th concert.

SNSD has had an amazing run in the Japanese market, becoming the third Korean artist to surpass selling 500,000 copies of their album. Kara also did well in Japan, ranking #1 on the weekly Oricon charts for both their DVDs and CDs. 2pm’s Japanese promotions also did well as they ranked #1 on Tower Records Japan Pre-order Chart and were the first Korean band to reach the #1 spot on USEN’s J-pop Chart.

Other groups such as 2am, C.N Blue, BEAST, 4minute, Infinite, Teen Top, Sistar, Secret, and Norazo were also confirmed to perform.

MBC Japan is in charge of the reconstruction support event and approximately 300 high school students from around and in the affected areas will be able to watch the concert for free.
