JYJ’s Yoochun recently treated new sneakers to the people he works with. On March 13, fellow JYJ member Junsu tweeted, “We went to an Adidas store. Our Crown Prince [Park Yoo Chun] told the staff members to grab a pair of shoes,” and uploaded a group photo, where everyone held a blue shopping bag as they surrounded Yoochun.

JYJ Holds Successful Concert in Chile
On March 9, approximately 3000 fans gathered at Teatro Caupolican in Santiago, Chile to watch JYJ perform. "JYJ South America Tour 2012" started in the hype of K-pop fever and fans anticipations. The three members Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu appeared on stage in bright red outfits. Thousands of fans screamed as loudly as they could, welcoming the Korean artists with open arms. Some fans even teared up when spot lights hit each members, revealing their excited faces.

During a press conference held in Chile on March 8, JYJ opened up about the recording of them verbally abusing fans in 2009. The JYJ members read their prepared statements with grim faces. (As we reported earlier: An online board uploaded an audio file of JYJ’s Jaejoong and Yoochun verbally and physically abusing fans. In the audio file, Jaejoong can be heard swearing at “Sasaeng Fans.” Sasaeng fans are extreme fans that engage in behaviors that are dangerously close to being stalkers.)
JYJ’s Yoochun Gets Slapped in the Face by Sasaeng Fan
Recently, a video of JYJ’s Yoochun getting slapped by a sasaeng fan was uploaded to various online communities, garnering interest. In the video, Yoochun was trying to get past a horde of fans outside his hair salon, when one sasaeng fan slapped him on the face. Yoochun delicately touches the part of his cheek that was slapped and glares at the fan before moving on. Other fans in the area also seemed surprise at the sasaeng fan’s unexpected assault.
