Lee Dong Gun's Character In 'Queen For 7 Days' To Go On A Rampage

Lee Dong Gun is uncontrollably filled with rage in KBS2’s “Queen for 7 Days.”

Lee Yoong (Lee Dong Gun) is a sad king whose emotionally deprived childhood has left an unerasable mark in his life. Unlike any other depiction of King Yeonsangun in other dramas, King Yeonsangun from “Queen for 7 Days” is one that makes viewers care for him. This may be the reason why viewers refer to him by his name Lee Yoong, instead of King Yeonsangun. Though Lee Yoong is a ruler who has the world under his feet, he was unable to earn the love of his mother and his one true love Shin Chae Kyung (Park Min Young).

On July 19, the producers of “Queen for 7 Days” shared four preview stills of Lee Yoong violently going berserk.

With frightening eyes, Lee Yoong aims his bow and arrow at some targets with several criminals tied up against them. Beside him, his right arm Shin Soo Geun (Jang Hyun Sung) and other servants are looking down and pleading him for mercy.

The producers stated, “On today’s (July 19’s) broadcast, episode 15, Lee Yoong’s burst of anger will become more violent, and his sadness will become even deeper. Accordingly, Lee Dong Gun’s solid and detailed acting will truly shine. Please look forward to the intense emotions Lee Yoong will experience, and how Lee Dong Gun will portray those feelings.”
