Lee Jong Suk Isn’t Worried About “While You Were Sleeping” In Terms Of Ratings
Actor Lee Jong Suk recently talked about his upcoming drama “While You Were Sleeping,” which also stars Suzy.
Through an interview with Biz Enter, he shared his thoughts on the new SBS drama which is set to air in September.
Lee Jong Suk stars in the pre-produced drama as the main lead Jung Jae Chan. While KBS2’s drama “Descendants of the Sun” is a pre-produced drama that did really well in terms of ratings, other pre-produced dramas have not been so lucky.
In regards to this, Lee Jong Suk commented, “While a lot of people have told me that I did well in choosing my previous scripts and projects, it was honestly luck. But I think that luck will continue to be valid for ‘While You Were Sleeping.'”
“While You Were Sleeping” is set to be the third drama (alongside “Pinocchio” and “I Hear Your Voice“) that Lee Jong Suk works on with writer Park Hye Ryeon. “As a writer, she’s able to perfectly compose a pre-produced drama,” he said.
Meanwhile, Lee Jong Suk recently starred in the film “V.I.P,” which tells the story of a North Korean official’s son who is also a psychopathic serial killer.
