TVXQ's Changmin Reveals His Mother's Favorite Idols

On the October 14 episode of JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything,” TVXQ’s Changmin revealed his mother’s admiration of his fellow group member Yunho and Super Junior’s Siwon.

After being asked what his mother said after his debut that made the biggest impression, Changmin gave the panel a hint and challenged them to guess: “My mother was in a young girl mode. She said what she said because she was so happy.”

The group threw around guesses, “Was she thankful that you got to be in the same group as Yunho? Was she glad you got to stand side by side with Yunho?” Finally, Heechul got the right answer: “Thank you for being friends with Yunho!”

Changmin explained, “Yunho is really pleasant around older people, so my mother told me, ‘I’m so grateful you were born to be Yunho’s friend.'”

Continuing one, Changmin added that his mother was also fond of Siwon. “Recently my mother told me she was thankful I went to the army with Siwon. The only reason she was thankful for this was because he is really rich!”
