Tao Loses Appeal In Lawsuit Against SM Entertainment

Former EXO member Tao has lost his appeal against SM Entertainment.

Previously, Tao had lost his lawsuit regarding his exclusive contract with the agency in April. Following this decision, Tao decided to appeal the ruling. However, the Seoul High Court officially rejected his appeal on October 27.

A source from SM Entertainment said, “We welcome the department of justice’s wise and encouraging ruling. We will continue to make our way with active business in the global market.”

The source added, “We will do our best to establish a culture of protecting loyalty and abiding by contracts for the advancement of Asia’s entertainment industry.”
