JBJ Talks About How Emotional They Felt At Debut Showcase

JBJ members have shared how it felt to hold their debut showcase.

In the November 2 episode of “Just Be Joyful JBJ,” the production crew asked JBJ about their first meeting with the show. Leader Noh Tae Hyun answered, “We’ve become closer to the production staff now, and we also became closer as well.”

Kim Dong Han talked about recording their title track. He said, “We recorded the title track five times. The lyrics kept changing and we added a lot of little details, so we kept re-recording.”

Noh Tae Hyun then said, “The fans created a sexy concept for us, and the title song was also that way. We thought that if we were able to pull it off, then we would receive a good response from the fans. Since there are many people coming to [our debut showcase], we felt a lot of pressure.”

Lastly, the members were asked whether they had a moment on stage when they felt emotional. Noh Tae Hyun answered, “I have my ear piece in on purpose. When the opening video plays and we go on stage, if I don’t have my ear piece in, I hear all of the cheering and it makes me feel like I’m going to cry. So I purposely put my ear piece in in order to not hear that, but even then, I could hear it.”

Kenta admitted, “I really almost cried,” and Kwon Hyun Bin said with a smile, “I didn’t want to turn out first showcase into a sea of tears.”

JBJ recently made their debut in October with their mini album “Fantasy” and the title track of the same name.
