BTS Wins Best Song Of The Year At The 2017 Melon Music Awards, Total Of Five Awards

BTS wins the Best Song of the Year at the 2017 Melon Music Awards, which honors K-pop artists and their achievements this year based on their performance on Melon, one of Korea’s largest online music store.

The 2017 Melon Music Awards took place on December 2 KST at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, South Korea with many celebrities in attendance and music performances to round out an exciting year in K-pop.

BTS took home four awards this year as group: Best Song of the Year for “Spring Day,” Global Artist Award, Top 10 Award, and Best Music Video Award for “DNA.” Additionally, member Suga took home the Hot Trend award, along with Suran for the song he produced – “Wine” – for the singer.

Last year, BTS took home “Best Album of the year” for their Daesang (Grand Prize). With this year’s award, BTS now has won award in every Daesang category – Song, Album, and Artist  – across the Melon Music Awards and Mnet Asian Music Awards combined. BTS has taken home the Artist of the Year award 2 years in a row from the Mnet Asian Music Awards.
