YG And JTBC To Broadcast Prison Reality Show

YG and JTBC are teaming up for another reality show titled “Let’s Live Kindly” (literal translation).

“Let’s Live Kindly” promises to reveal what really happens to people when they commit crimes and receive punishment. The show claims that it will not portray a simple prison experience but rather will incorporate the process of being arrested, going under trial, and being imprisoned. It will be the first Korean variety show of its kind.

The program will be led by Producing Directors Je Young Jae who worked on “Infinite Challenge” and Kim Min Jong who worked on “Real Men.” The producing directors said that they plan on going in depth in revealing the hard work of correctional officers and aim to promote the message of the importance of not committing crimes.

They further revealed that filming took place in actual police stations, courts, and prisons. Actual policemen and judicial officers also participated in the show.

“Let’s Live Kindly” will star Kim Bo Sung, Park Gun Hyung, Kim Jong Min, Don Spike, Yoo Byung Jae, WINNER’s Kim Jin Woo, and JBJ’s Kwon Hyun Bin.

The first episode is slated to air on January 19 at 9 p.m. KST.
