Watch: EXO, BTS, TWICE, Red Velvet, And Many More Ring In The New Year With Performances At 2017 MBC Gayo Daejejun
Many of K-pop’s biggest artists of the year got together to celebrate the year’s hits and to show their love for fans at the 2017 MBC Gayo Daejejun on December 31!
With this year’s theme being “The Fan,” the show featured lots of fun events with fans and special performances created by the groups for their fans. Many artists also teamed up for collaborations, including Wanna One and SECHSKIES, BTOB with Hyunsik’s father Im Ji Hoon, Sunmi and PRISTIN, HyunA and Cosmic Girls, Lovelyz and No Brain, and more.
During the show, the artists and fans counted down to the new year together, before BTS became the first artist to perform in 2018 on MBC with their tracks “Go Go” and “MIC Drop.” EXO then performed their winter track “Universe” for the first time on television as well as “Ko Ko Bop.”
