Ji Il Joo Says He'd Like To Apologize To His Friend Lee Kwang Soo For A Past Mistake

On February 20, actor Ji Il Joo participated in a press conference for a new tvN variety show.

Along with Park Myung Soo, Jun Hyun Moo, Hwang Gyo Ik, and The Boyz’s Sangyeon, Ji Il Joo is one of the MCs of “Are We Strangers” (literal translation), a show that aims to promote communication between people through the exchange of packed lunches. Guests will make a packed lunch and give it to someone they’ve been wanting to communicate with for a long time.

During the press conference at the Stanford Hotel Seoul, Ji Il Joo was asked if there was anyone he wanted to make a packed lunch for. He said, “There are two people.”

“The first is my manager, who I’ve been bothering lately, and I feel sorry about that,” he continued. “The other is my friend at my agency, [Lee] Kwang Soo. Five years ago, I left him alone when we went out to drink together and he brings it up every year. I want to give him a lunch to make up for that.”

The first episode of “Are We Strangers” premieres on February 26 at 8:10 p.m. KST.
