Jin Se Yeon Cuts Her Own Hair In An Act Of Defiance In "Grand Prince"

TV Chosun’s “Grand Prince” has shared new stills of Jin Se Yeon expressing herself with the drastic action of cutting off her hair.

“Grand Prince” is the story of two royal brothers who are willing to do whatever it takes to win the heart of the most beautiful woman in the Joseon Dynasty. Jin Se Yeon plays that woman, Sung Ja Hyun, who wishes to find her own path to love and happiness rather than follow the path chosen for her.

The new stills show her sitting in front of a mirror and resolutely cutting off her own hair with a pair of scissors. Though it has been three years since she was informed that her love Lee Hwi (Yoon Shi Yoon) had passed, she still harbors feelings for him. When she is told that she would soon be married off to someone else, she tries to run away in the middle of the night but gets caught and locked in her room. As a final resort, she cuts her own hair in an act of defiance.

After she gives herself an impromptu haircut, Sung Ja Hyun opens the doors and shouts, “My wish was to go to your grave and be buried alongside you!” Sung Ja Hyun is determined to be the one to shape her own future, and her fate will be one to watch in the drama.
