PENTAGON Explains How "Shine" Is Different From Their Other Songs

PENTAGON held a showcase for their new mini album “Positive” on April 2 and talked about their title track “Shine.”

Hui, who wrote the song himself, explained, “If PENTAGON has released somewhat heavy music telling stories of youth until now, we came with music using minimal beat with the piano riff as its focus this time. It feels lighter. The trend nowadays is music that is easy to listen to, so I thought, ‘Why don’t we go on stage more relaxed as well?'”

PENTAGON’s sixth mini album “Positive” is released on online music sites on April 2. “Shine,” the title track, is a bright, bubbly song about having a crush on someone but not being brave enough to confess.
