Special Concert In North Korea Scores High Viewership Ratings
Various artists recently traveled to North Korea for a concert titled “Spring Is Coming,” and the special concert recorded a total viewership of 36.6 percent.
According to Nielsen Korea, the April 5 airing of “Spring Is Coming” recorded 15.6 percent viewership on KBS, 10.6 percent viewership on SBS, and 10.4 percent viewership on MBC. Combined the concert viewership came out to 36.6 percent.
The concert was held for four days from March 31 through April 3 at East Pyongyang Grand Theatre and Pyongyang Arena. The lineup included Cho Yong Pil, Baek Ji Young, Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun, Ali, Jung In, Red Velvet, Yoon Do Hyun, and Lee Sun Hee.
