EYEDI is making a comeback!

On May 10, her agency Bace Camp Studio revealed that the artist is planning to return with a new single album titled “Luv Highway” on May 16.

In a statement, the agency said, “Knowing that her fans had waited a long time for her comeback, EYEDI participated in the entire production process of the album, including composing and writing the title track.”

EYEDI debuted in July 2016 with the Jeff Bernat-produced track “Sign” and released a global project album “Chapter 21” with Mario Winans and rapper Kim Hyo Eun.

Late last year, she participated in the JTBC audition program “MIXNINE” under her birth name Nam Yu Jin and ranked fifth overall. Although she ranked in the Top 9 female contestants, it was the male group that was chosen to debut.

However, it was recently revealed that plans for that group’s debut had fallen through, and now many of the former “MIXNINE” contestants are planning separate debuts, releasing project albums, or making a comeback.

EYEDI had originally planned to officially debut outside of South Korea, but plans for that album have been pushed back to the second half of 2018 after being delayed by her “MIXNINE” appearance.
