ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo Talks About His Dating Life Before And After Debut

On the May 16 episode of MBC’s “Radio Star,” ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo guested along with Lee Kye In, Go Doo Shim, and Brian. During the episode, Cha Eun Woo talked about dating before and after his debut.

He explained, “I wasn’t very popular [with girls] when I was in school. Unlike the other guests, I haven’t received a box of chocolates through a truck before. But when it was time to switch classrooms for exams, I always found chocolate in the seat I was supposed to move to.”

Cha Eun Woo was then asked if he really had dated only once before his debut and had been asked out by someone after he debuted, which he confirmed was true. He confessed, “I dated when I was a trainee in high school.”

He continued, “After debuting, I was asked out by an idol. I didn’t necessarily reject them, but I prefer to naturally become close to someone through work rather and I find being introduced to someone through another person a bit burdensome. I read the text and didn’t reply.”

When asked what he would do if he saw them passing by, he replied, “There was a time when I passed by them but I just nodded my head hello, and went past them.”
