PENTAGON Reportedly Working On Their Next Comeback After Success Of “Shine”

PENTAGON may already be gearing up for their next comeback!

On May 17, a news outlet reported that PENTAGON is working on their next album. The group recently finished promoting for “Shine,” the title track of PENTAGON’s sixth mini album “Positive.” The track released in early April belatedly gained the public’s attention, making its way up the music charts a month after its initial release. The song has continued to rise, and is at No. 26 on the realtime chart of Korea’s largest music site Melon as of May 17 at 9 p.m. KST.

“Shine” boasts a combination of unique lyrics and PENTAGON’s charming performances, resulting in the group’s biggest success so far. A fan-taken video of Kino during a performance has also become very popular online.

PENTAGON has rarely spent much time before making another comeback. According to the new outlet, the group has already begun preparing for their next album and comeback.

Cube Entertainment’s family concert, “2018 United Cube –One–“, is another thing PENTAGON is getting ready for. This is the agency’s first family concert in five years, their last one being in 2013. Besides PENTAGON, HyunA, Jo Kwon, BTOB, CLC, Yoo Seon Ho, and (G)I-DLE are confirmed to appear.
