JYJ's Kim Jaejoong And Jin Se Yeon Respond To Reports Of Being Cast In New Drama
JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong and Jin Se Yeon have responded to reports that they are in talks to lead a new drama.
On May 21, it was reported that the two had received the scripts and were in talks to appear in a new drama titled “And So I Married An Anti-Fan.” The drama is said to be a romantic comedy that tells the love story of a kid who lived in the countryside who became one of the biggest stars in the country and a magazine reporter who is his anti-fan. The storyline is based on an internet novel that was written in 2010 and was then created into a webtoon. The original work was also turned into a profitable Chinese film in 2016, with a cast that included EXO’s Chanyeol and Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun.
Jin Se Yeon’s agency Early Bird Entertainment responded to the reports and stated, “It is one of the projects that have been offered to the actress, but we haven’t gone beyond receiving the script.”
Kim Jaejoong personally denied the reports on Twitter as he wrote, “‘And So I Married An Anti-Fan.’ I’ve never seen or heard of it before. But you can send me the script, I’m sure I’ll enjoy it.” He went on to state, “However, I’m not in the position to take on such a drama. I’m currently doing my best to repay people I care about for the first time in nine or ten years. I appreciate it, but I will have to turn this down.” Kim Jaejoong is currently busy preparing to make a comeback as a singer in Japan.
