2AM's Jeong Jinwoon Confirmed To Appear In New SBS Drama

2AM’s Jeong Jinwoon will be starring in a new SBS drama!

On June 1, Mystic Entertainment announced, “Jeong Jinwoon has been cast in the special SBS weekend drama ‘About That Woman’ [literal title].” The idol-turned-actor’s appearance will mark his first drama role since JTBC’s “Madame Antoine” in 2016.

“About That Woman” is a mystery melodrama that will tell the story of a woman who wakes up one day to discover that she has a new face and no recollection of her former life. The drama will follow the protagonist as she attempts to recover her memories and figure out her own identity.

Jeong Jinwoon will play the role of Lee Hee Young, a patient consultant at a plastic surgeon’s office. Although Lee Hee Young is handsome, competent, and very popular with the female patients who visit the office, he unexpectedly turns out to have no real dating experience.

The 2AM member remarked, “I’m nervous and delighted to be able to greet viewers through a drama for the first time in a while. I will work hard so that I can present good acting together with the great actors [who are appearing in the drama].”

“About That Woman” is currently scheduled to begin airing in July, following the end of “Secret Mother.” The drama’s cast will also include actors Kim Jae Won, Nam Sang Mi, Jo Hyun Jae, and Han Eun Jung.
