BLACKPINK's "DDU-DU DDU-DU" Becomes Fastest K-Pop Girl Group MV To Hit 20 Million Views
BLACKPINK continues to break records with their latest music video!
Less than 14 hours after the release of BLACKPINK’s new title track “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” the song set a new record for the fastest K-pop girl group music video to surpass 20 million views on YouTube. The music video hit the milestone at approximately 7:45 a.m. KST on June 16, breaking the record of 35 and a half hours previously set by TWICE’s “What is Love?” in April.
BTS’s “Fake Love” currently holds the record for the fastest overall K-pop group music video to surpass 20 million views, hitting the milestone in just under 9 hours after the video’s release.
BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” also set a new record for the fastest K-pop girl group music video to reach 10 million views, taking only 6 hours and 15 minutes to accomplish the feat.
