SHINee's Minho Complains That Key Never Gives Him Gifts

On the June 21 episode of tvN’s “Life Bar,” SHINee’s Minho revealed that fellow member Key has never given him a gift before.

During the show, Key talked about his attitude of life, saying, “I am generous with gifts, time, food, and emotions to those who I like, whether they’re my friends or lovers. I get to find out what kind of people they are when I give everything to them.”

Minho, who heard that, protested by complaining, “I never received anything [from Key] before. I really gave him a lot of things. I bought him speakers and a vacuum cleaner before, but he never bought me anything. I wondered if he’s going to pile up all the gifts he owes me and give them to me at once later. I thought, ‘Is he going to buy me a house or a car?'”

Key defended himself, saying, “When it’s my birthday, I tell people what I want first. ‘I need this. Can you buy it for me?’ I told Minho to tell me what he wants for his birthday, but he never says anything.”

To that, Minho replied, “I feel awkward asking him to buy me something. On the other hand, he’s so good at it. ‘It’s my birthday, so buy me this.’ He even tells us the model and brand names as well as the location where it’s sold.” Minho also added that Key eggs him on by telling him that he’ll find someone else to buy him the gift if he can’t. Minho admitted that he eventually gives in because of his competitive nature and Key’s great reactions.
