BTOB Shares Their Love For Cube Labelmates PENTAGON And (G)I-DLE
BTOB has expressed their love and support for fellow Cube Entertainment groups PENTAGON and (G)I-DLE!
In a recent interview with media outlet Newsen, BTOB revealed that they still couldn’t believe that they were now one of their agency’s most senior artists. Leader Eunkwang remarked, “We still have the same state of mind that we did when we first debuted. It feels a bit awkward [being a senior artist], but it also makes me think that we should take responsibility.”
He went on, “I think we matured naturally. Now that we’ve ended up in this position, I feel as though it’s even more important for us to do our best as a senior artist and a pillar of Cube Entertainment.”
When asked about the recent success of their labelmates PENTAGON and (G)-IDLE, Eunkwang replied, “First of all, I’m so pleased. I think it’s really something to congratulate. Both groups produce their own songs, and when you talk to them, they’re really passionate about making music. Because they’re so hard-working, I think it’s only right that they receive a lot of love.”
He added, “I hope that they don’t change and continue to work as hard as they are now. I hope they stay strong. Please tell them I love them.”
Hyunsik chimed in, “Because we’re not only their [Cube] seniors, but also fellow artists, I see them as very cool and pretty, and I think they’re doing a great job. Even though I’m a senior artist, I also think there’s a lot to learn from watching them. I think we’re learning from one another as we mature together as artists.”
BTOB recently made a comeback with the new mini album “This Is Us,” featuring the title track “Only One for Me.”
