WINNER's Lee Seung Hoon Talks About YG, Bobby, And Yang Hyun Suk's Close Eye On Kim Gura

WINNER’s Lee Seung Hoon appeared on the July 4 episode of MBC’s “Radio Star,” where he talked about what YG higher-ups thought about YG artists’ appearances on the show.

Cha Tae Hyun first brought up Bobby’s appearance on “Radio Star,” and a rumor that the iKON member had been blacklisted by YG.

Lee Seung Hoon said, “Bobby had said a lot of things that seemed like he was dissing YG, and the executives at YG at the time had talked about whether or not Bobby had gone too far.”

He said he has a completely different angle. “From the beginning, I’ve always praised YG, and I know to be thankful to Yang Hyun Suk. “

MC Kim Guk Jin also brought up a rumor that Yang Hyun Suk is keeping a close eye on Kim Gura. Lee Seung Hoon explained that it was because every time a WINNER member appeared on “Radio Star,” Kim Gura asked about Nam Tae Hyun, to which the MC said he only asked twice. “Because you kept bringing it up,” said Lee Seung Hoon, “Yang Hyun Suk was quite uncomfortable while watching.”

He continued, “For us, it’s not a big deal to talk about it since we’re directly involved, but it’s kind of like a married couple. When a married couple divorces, the couple is okay, but the children are the ones that are hurt the most,” indirectly putting Kim Gura, who divorced his wife in 2015, on blast.

Lee Seung Hoon said that for him, the fans are like the kids in a divorce, getting hurt every time the matter is brought up again, and that it makes him sad when that happens.

Kim Gura, in response, said, “Well, if you’re bringing up kids, [I can’t say anything].”
