Han Hyo Joo Shares Thoughts On Dating Rumors With Kang Dong Won
On July 25, Han Hyo Joo discussed her recent dating rumors involving co-star Kang Dong Won in an interview for their new movie “Illang: The Wolf Brigade.”
Previously, dating reports about the two actors talked about the pair being together in the United States. Both of their agencies denied the rumors and stated that they are merely close co-stars.
Han Hyo Joo brushed off the dating rumors and said, “But everything that came out is all there is. We ate together because our schedules worked out while we were in the United States. I’m actually more worried about this becoming too big and hindering the movie into a different direction. [Besides that] there’s not much else.”
She continued, “[When I talk to the people around me about this] I say ‘We just ate. It was delicious.’ I say ‘There’s so much chattering going on. I’m sorry.’ Truthfully, I apologized about the chattering going on because of a different, unnecessary issue. Honestly, since it’s not talk about the movie that is gaining attention but rather a personal matter, it’s very burdensome and I’m sorry.”
The actress also talked about Kang Dong Won and said, “I think we’re both not paying too much attention to [the dating rumors]. It kind of feels like ‘something like this could happen.'”
As for her relationship to him, Han Hyo Joo commented, “Kang Dong Won is an actor I can learn a lot from. There were a lot of times when I was exhausted and having a tough time as my character, but I relied on him a lot. He’s not the type to affectionately help in a direct manner. Instead, he’s the silent and brusque type you can rely on.”
She concluded, “I enjoy eating delicious food and relieve stress by eating yummy food. Kang Dong Won is also like this, so we share info about popular restaurants. We’re close and we compete against each other with our list of popular restaurants.”
Meanwhile, Kang Dong Won also talked about his reaction to the dating rumors in another interview.
