Upcoming KBS Monday-Tuesday drama “Lovely Horribly” has released individual character posters for its main cast!

“Lovely Horribly” will be the follow-up drama to “Are You Human, Too?” and is set to premiere on August 13. The story will follow a top star and drama scriptwriter whose lies are tied together in an interesting way. Philip (Park Shi Hoo) and Eul Soon (Song Ji Hyo) were born on the same day at the same time, and are bound by a zero-sum relationship, in which one person’s happiness turns into the other person’s misfortune. The happenings that ensue are a mix of melodrama and horror to create the perfect horror romantic comedy.

The new posters elicit more curiosity to know what kind of future lies ahead for the characters. First is shining top star who succeeds no matter what he does, Yoo Philip, who is played by Park Shi Hoo. Philip seems to radiate perfection from the top of his head to the tips of his toes, but he can also be clumsy at times. A lovable person, Philip is poised to enter the golden age of his career and is ready to branch out his career overseas when an unexpected stroke of bad luck hits him.

Alongside him is “dark lovely” icon of bad luck Oh Eul Soon, played by Song Ji Hyo. With messy hair and a typewriter clutched in her arms, Eul Soon’s character can be summed up with the poster caption, “Fails no matter what she does.” Though she may appear dark and aloof on the outside, she is a warm and caring person once you get to know her.

They will be joined by Highlight’s Lee Gikwang, who will play rising drama producing director (PD) Lee Sung Joong, who follows Eul Soon around like a puppy. His poster caption reads, “I can see ghosts,” and the glint in his eye hints at something he can see that others can’t. Not only will he have great chemistry with Eul Soon, but he will also add more twists to the plot with his special abilities.

Alongside them is Philip’s girlfriend and actress Shin Yoon Ah, played by T-ara’s Eunjung. Yoon Ah is loved by the masses but behind her beautiful smile is a strong possessiveness and jealousy over Philip. Her poster says, “It’s okay, nothing happened,” makes one curious to know what kind of secrets she is hiding, especially when paired with her sophisticated but cold expression in the poster.

Finally, there is Choi Yeo Jin playing drama scriptwriter Ki Eun Young, who is known as the queen of ratings. She rises to celebrity status because of her ability to write hit after hit, but she ends up getting caught in an unexpected situation after betraying best friend Eul Soon. There appears to be a secret behind her as her poster reads, “The truth behind the million dollar fingers” that will be revealed once the drama airs.

The production staff stated, “None of the five characters are your average drama characters and they will create an exciting and fun story for viewers,” and “Please anticipate the synergy created by a refreshing concept and multidimensional characters.”

“Lovely Horribly” will premiere on August 13 at 10 p.m. KST.
