Seo In Young Shares Her Thoughts On The Possibility Of A Jewelry Reunion

Seo In Young talked about her hopes that Jewelry members will be able to gift their fans with a reunion.

On the August 8 episode of the SBS radio show “Kim Chang Ryul’s Old School,” Seo In Young appeared as a guest to promote her new ballad “Close Your Eyes.”

During the show, DJ Kim Chang Ryul said to her, “There are a lot of groups these days that are having reunions. Does Jewelry have any plans for a reunion?”

Seo In Young replied, “We haven’t talked about it in detail, but we’ve talked about how we want to definitely get together and do a concert for our fans.” She explained that she regrets that the group wasn’t ever able to do a concert together, because of conflicts in their schedule.

“[Park] Jung Ah and I have talked about how we want to use our own money to do a concert in a small theater,” said Seo In Young. “We want to repay our fans. Since Jung Ah is married now, we’ll have to find the right timing.”

Jewelry made their debut in 2001, and Seo In Young joined the group in 2002. Jewelry produced hits including “One More Time,” “I Really Like You,” and “Super Star,” and had many changes to their line-up over the years.

Seo In Young and Park Jung Ah departed from Jewelry in 2009, and the group disbanded in 2015. Park Jung Ah married pro-golfer Jeon Sang Woo in May of 2016.
