5-Minute Makeup Routine For A Soft, Natural Look Everyday

If you’re the type to squeeze out every last minute until you really, really need to wake up for school or work, beauty influencer Hana (@hanaylee) can help you achieve a glowing, natural makeup look in five quick minutes. This tutorial will be especially more helpful for those with monolids.

Colourpop

STEP 1. Use a concealer, like Colourpop No Filter Matte Concealer in Medium 28, instead of a foundation when you need a quick, natural look. Apply it all over your face with a large foundation brush.

STEP 2. Lightly draw in your eyebrows with EGLIPS Natural Auto Eyebrow in Black Brown, following your natural curve. You can smooth out the color using the brush at the other end of the EGLIPS eyebrow pencil.

STEP 3. The 3CE Mood Recipe Multi Eye Color Palette is a great palette for achieving both everyday and glam looks. Use the lightest shade on the palette and use your finger to apply it on your eyelids for a good base.

Then use the darker, maroonish brown to define your eyes. Star at the outer edge of your eyelids and blend it toward the center. For those with monolids, use the edge of your eye sockets as guide to how far up you should blend.

Using the same color, draw in the lower outer edge of your eyes.

STEP 4. Skip the eyeliner and opt for mascara to bring out your eyes. If you have especially straight, downward falling eyelashes, start curling at the very inner edge of your lashes and work your way out. Make sure to move out little by little to give it a smooth, natural-looking curl.

Then apply a base like the PDC Pmel Essence Mascara Base to lengthen your eyelashes and hold the curl.

Next, layer on the Heroine Make Volume and Curl Mascara Super Waterproof, which holds all day long. It can be clumpy, though, so don’t apply too much at a time.

STEP 5. You can use the 3CE Mood Recipe Face Blush in Rose Beige for a natural glow on your cheeks. If you smile, you can easily identify the apple of your cheek and brush up your cheekbone.

Glossier

STEP 6. The Glossier Haloscope highlighter is super-easy to use, making it perfect tool for a busy morning. Just smear in on your cheekbones and on the tip of your nose, and just pat it in with your fingers.

STEP 7. Tap the Nakeup Face Velvet Scandal Lip Tint onto your lips and blend it in with your fingers for a soft, matte look.

STEP 8. Keep your hair casual but neat by slightly curling in the hairs that frame your face.
