INK Concert Announces Lineup Changes Involving HyunA, PENTAGON’s E’Dawn And Yan An, And PRISTIN V
The upcoming Incheon K-pop Concert 2018 (INK Concert) has announced a few changes to its lineup.
On August 9, a notice was posted to the concert’s official website which notified a change to the concert’s lineup. According to the post, HyunA, and PENTAGON’s E’Dawn and Yan An will not be participating in the concert. Also, it had previously been advertised that PRISTIN would be performing at the concert, but the notice clarified that only the five members of unit group PRISTIN V will be in attendance.
The notice stated, “Changes to the lineup were made as a result of internal matters within the agencies,” and concluded with, “We apologize for causing concern to the many fans who are waiting for this event, and we ask for your understanding.”
On August 3, HyunA and E’Dawn personally confirmed that they have been in a relationship for the past two years. The following day, Cube Entertainment announced that Triple H would be wrapping up their latest round of promotional activities, and cancelling the rest of their music show appearances and fan signing event. Since then, the agency has stated that E’Dawn will not be participating in PENTAGON’s upcoming Korean fan club event and Japanese activities, citing internal matters for the cancellations. Yan An will also not be able to attend the Korean event due to an unavoidable scheduling conflict.
PRISTIN’s latest promotional activities were by unit group PRISTIN V, who made their unit debut in May with “Get It.” PRISTIN has not had a full group comeback since “We Like,” which was released in August 2017.
INK Concert will be held on September 1 at the Incheon Munhak Stadium.
