Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung And Jun Hyun Moo To MC Seoul Drama Awards 2018
Seoul Drama Awards 2018 has selected its MCs!
On August 10, it was announced that Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung and Jun Hyun Moo will lead the awards show. Both have been the MCs of awards shows in the past and they have been praised for their performances.
Sooyoung made her debut as a member of Girls’ Generation and has successfully expanded her career into acting. She led last year’s MBC weekend drama “Man Who Sets the Table,” and took part in the Korea-Japan joint project film “Memories of a Dead-End” (literal translation) this year as the leading role. She also recently confirmed her participation in the film “Girl Cops,” and is set to make a drastic transformation into a confident and brash character who isn’t afraid to speak her mind.
She will be joined by Jun Hyun Moo, who first began his career as an anchorman. He later made the transition into an entertainer and has appeared in variety shows and acted as the MC of many events over the years.
Seoul Drama Awards 2018 is set to be the biggest year yet for the event, with a total of 268 dramas from 56 countries being submitted for consideration. The awards show will be held on September 3 at the KBS Hall in Yeoido, Seoul, and will be broadcasted again on SBS TV on September 4.
