BTS Nominated For Best International Group Award At BBC Radio 1’s Teen Awards 2018

BTS has been nominated for an award at BBC Radio 1’s Teen Awards 2018!

BTS is nominated for the Best International Group award this year, alongside artists 5 Seconds of Summer, The Carters, The Chainsmokers, and Panic! at the Disco.

To be nominated for the Best International Group award, artists must have released a single or album that made it on to the United Kingdom’s Official Chart Top 40 between August 10, 2017 and July 2, 2018. BTS’s “Love Yourself: Her” and “Love Yourself: Tear” have both achieved this feat on the albums chart, with “Love Yourself: Her” coming in at No. 14 and “Love Yourself: Tear” taking the No. 8 spot.

BBC Radio 1’s Teen Awards names teens’ favorites in a variety of genres including music, games, television, and films, and as well as recognizes the achievements of exceptional young people. The annual ceremony began in 2007.

The winners of this year’s Teen Awards will be announced at the award show on Sunday, October 21! It will be held at The SSE Arena, Wembley in London, England.

Fans in the United Kingdom can vote via the BBC Radio 1 website until August 17.

BTS is currently gearing up to make a comeback on August 24 with their new repackaged album “Love Yourself: Answer.” They’ll then be embarking on a world tour, which begins in Seoul on August 25 and so far includes stops in North America, Europe, and Japan, with more dates to come.
