Jun So Min And Lee Kwang Soo Hilariously Use The Same Method To Trick Each Other On "Running Man"
Jun So Min and Lee Kwang Soo proved that great minds think alike on SBS’s “Running Man.”
On the August 19 episode, the cast members played a game of loyalty where each person had to choose one other person to split 100,000 won (approximately $89) in half with.
The members immediately thought about how to fool one another. Jun So Min called Lee Kwang Soo on the phone and said, “Give it to me.” He jokingly said to the staff with him, “I will choose Jun So Min. I just did it.” He then asked, “Are you going to give it to me?” and she replied, “Of course.”
When he didn’t believe her, Jun So Min said to the staff with her, “I’m going to give it to Lee Kwang Soo.” She asked the staff to play along and staff announced that Jun So Min decided to give the portion of her money to Lee Kwang Soo.
He was still skeptical and asked to speak on the phone with the woman who just made the announcement. They ended their call after agreeing to send each other screenshots as proof of their choices.
As soon as she hung up the phone call, Jun So Min said, “Is there any way to fake a text message?” She then created a fake text message conversation where she pretended as if she texted the staff that she chose Lee Kwang Soo.
After she screenshot the fake text and sent it to Lee Kwang Soo, she called him to confirm that he received it and asked him to send her a screenshot as well.
Lee Kwang Soo also sent her a screenshot of a text message. Believing that he had actually fallen for her trick, Jun So Min commented, “I think this is real. It’s hard to fake the ‘no title’ part.” However, it was revealed that Lee Kwang Soo had worked with a staff member to trick her with a fake message.
The staff revealed the final results. Yoo Jae Suk and Lee Kwang Soo were not chosen by any of the other members, while Kim Jong Kook and Song Ji Hyo received 150,000 won (approximately $134), and Ji Suk Jin, Yang Se Chan, and HaHa each secured 100,000 won (approximately $89).
During this episode, actors Kim Roe Ha, Seo Hyo Rim, and Kwak Si Yang also appeared as guests and carried out the “Out Dot Com” missions. They competed with the cast members in a water tank and quiz-solving mission before doing an “all-out race.”
