Song Ji Hyo And Highlight's Lee Gikwang Share Romantic Moment On "Lovely Horribly"

KBS 2TV’s new drama “Lovely Horribly” has unveiled a swoon-worthy sneak peek at its upcoming episode!

“Lovely Horribly” is a horror romantic comedy that stars Song Ji Hyo as Oh Eul Soon, an extraordinarily unlucky drama writer who hides a bright and optimistic personality behind her deceptively gloomy aura. Highlight’s Lee Gikwang plays the role of Lee Sung Joong, an up-and-coming drama producing director (PD) who harbors a pure and unchanging love for Eul Soon.

On August 20, the drama released new stills of Eul Soon and Sung Joong in the midst of a romantic moment in the rain. Sung Joong, whose first love was Eul Soon, gazes fondly at her with a sweet smile beneath a shared umbrella, while Eul Soon is unable to hide a shy smile of her own in return.

Although nothing ever seems to go according to plan for the unfortunate Eul Soon, Sung Joong is valiantly attempting to turn things around for her. After learning that fellow writer Ki Eun Young (played by Choi Yeo Jin) has been stealing Eul Soon’s scripts, Sung Joong will stop at nothing to try and get Eul Soon the credit and the career opportunities that she rightfully deserves.

The producers of “Lovely Horribly” remarked, “Sung Joong, who never got over his first love Eul Soon and has been kindling a pure love for her all along, has finally reunited with Eul Soon, and he is now directly and aggressively expressing his feelings for her.”

They added, “The gloomy Eul Soon, who has never been able to express herself due to her never-ending bad luck, is also beginning to change. Please look forward to the riveting chemistry between the older [Eul Soon] and the younger [Sung Joong].”

The next episode of “Lovely Horribly” will air on August 20 at 10 p.m. KST.
